In the 2005 Maui News Reader’s Poll, Maui residents voted Aroma D’Italia Maui’s ‘Best Restaurant Value’, and in 2007 they were voted “Best Italian Restaurant”, island wide. Now that’s amore! When Marie Palazzolo-Akina opened Aroma D’Italia it was with the simple goal to offer great home-style, made-from-scratch meals at reasonable prices. Old world Sicilian recipes passed down through her family for generations, combined with traditional hearty Italian cuisine. Today new owners Heide and Chef Konrad Winder are carrying on that family tradition, offering Marie’s famous entrees that have kept customers coming back for years – along with new exciting menu items and nightly specials, inspired by the culinary wizardry of Chef Konrad Winder. And the prices? Still the best on the island. Aroma D’Italia, now open Monday-Friday for lunch 11:30am-2:30pm, and seven nights a week for dinner 5-9pm. Dine inside, or enjoy sunset from the open-air patio. Take-out orders are also available for pick-up.
