On Maui since 1994! Offering world-class instruction and family-friendly Surfing and Standup Paddle (SUP) Lessons! Learning to surf or standup paddle for the first time in Hawaii is extremely fun, educational, and rewarding, for it's considered the birthplace of these ancient sports. For over 16 years founder Tim Sherer and his crew has maintained one of the best reputations for safe and professional instruction on Maui. All instructors are highly experienced surfer/teachers who offer mature and professional instruction and love what they do! All are CPR and 1st Aid certified. Goofy Foot's goal is to empower students with a natural method of progression and sound skills to safely approach the ocean and surfing. Our surfing and paddling location is world-class; the water is warm and clear and the waves are consistent and easy for learning to surf, and the nearby lagoon is perfect for learning to SUP. We offer Surf & SUP Lessons daily at many different times. Beginners learn to surf in one 2-hour lesson or the experience is on us! All gear is provided, reservations required.
