Spa Treatments for Everyone

Spa Grande offers a wide range of spa programs and treatments for everyone including couples, teens, keiki, women and men. With an emphasis on incorporating Hawaiian ingredients and techniques, Spa Grande offers guests a means to connect with nature’s healing elements and Maui’s special spiritual quality.

Prior to most treatments, guests relax in Spa Grande’s Terme Wailea Hydrotherapy. The Terme is a series of international water therapies including five specialty baths (Tropical Enzyme, Aromatherapy, Moor Mud, Limu Seaweed and Hawaiian Salt), an oversized Roman tub, Japanese Furo and cold dunk, cascading waterfall showers, sauna, steam room and Swiss jet showers. The Terme also includes an invigorating exfoliation scrub. The experience helps prepare the mind and body for the massage, body treatment or facial that is to follow.

This year, Spa Grande is offering a selection of new spa treatments and spa programs, including the introduction of spa packages just for men. Men can indulge in a package of treatments that include the Terme Wailea Hydrotherapy, massage, facial and manicure or pedicure. Packages are perfect after a few rounds of golf.

Also popular at Spa Grande are the keiki and teen treatments. Favorites of teens tend to be the Teen Facial or the Wave Massage, and children are more partial to the Chocolate Coconut Massage. Both parents and kids alike loved the idea for children 5 and older as exhibited by the popularity of the Spa’s Malama Ka Ohana (Take Care of Your Family) package that includes adults and children getting massages in the same Spa Treatment Suite. The package includes two 25 minute adult massages and two 25 minute children’s massages.

The whole family can now pamper themselves with a luxurious three to five hour spa program. Some programs include the Spa Grande Treasures (for first time and experienced spa goers), ‘Aina (earth), Mahani (winds), Wela (heat), to name a few.

For couples seeking the ultimate, romantic indulgence, the Romantic Interlude For Two offers a Sandalwood Serenity Wrap, Romantic Bath and Duo Massage in the privacy of your own spa treatment room.

Ancient philosophies attempted to order the world by theorizing that all matter was formed by the elements of water, fire, earth, air and harmony. As such, Spa Grande offers an array of treatments in all of these categories. Indulge in an Awapuhi (Ginger) Salt Scrub & Wrap (fire), a rich blend of oils combined with ginger root, green papaya, honey and sea salt. Or treat yourself to a Volcanic Ash Purifying Facial (earth), to purify and vitalize your skin. Try the new Thai Herbal Bolus Massage (harmony), which hydrates and softens skin.

Health and Wellness

Spa Grande’s fitness ­professionals offer private consultations and education on ­nutrition, fitness assessments, stress ­management, goals clarification and ­personal training. A personalized program can be designed to meet your specific lifestyle goals. Fitness professionals are on-hand daily in the Fitness Center to assist guests with their workout regimens. A variety of fitness classes are offered daily including Group Cycling, Yoga, Aqua Fitness, and much more.
